Video: TV Envy Interviews 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, NBC, 30 Rock, Features,

We were able to chat with ‘s (Jenna on the show) earlier today to talk about tonight’s 30 Rock season finale. Jane gives us a teaser on what to expect in the Season 3 finale, and also tells us what it’s like to work with so many world-class comedians on a day-to-day basis. We also go into some of her work on the Breyers Smooth and Dreamy promotion, where she has shot a couple of webisodes that put her into classical movies as a modern-day woman (and they’re pretty funny.)

Check out the video above for the interview, and head on over to the Smooth and Dreamy site to enter to win a very cool Dreamy Hollywood package, which includes an 8 day trip for 4 to Hollywood, CA. Once again, we thank Jane for taking some time to chat with us today!

Thursday Ratings: Criminal Evening for CBS

One week after facing a new Private Practice, Southland was put to another test. A repeat of Criminal Minds not only did better than the now-moved Harper’s Island, it attracted the most viewers in the 10:00 hour.

Thursday Ratings: Parks Weakens Without Office

Although it’s still hard to say how Southland will do against an ABC original, the series held up remarkably well in its second week. Unfortunately, the same can’t entirely be said for Harper’s or Parks. The CBS mystery lost nearly 2 million in its second week while the comedy suffered a case of the post-Earl blues.

Thursday Ratings: CBS and NBC Tie Post-Premieres

Depending on how you spin the numbers, the evening either belonged to NBC, CBS or both. The premiere of Southland won the 10:00 battle against Harper’s Island in the demos, but lost in the viewers. NBC tied CBS in the demos, but the Eye network won overall with the viewers. (Maybe we’ll just have to recalculate when ABC isn’t in repeats.)

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, NBC, Gossip,

Michelle ObamaEmmy award-winning 30 Rock has already welcomed a big box office earner (Jennifer Aniston), an influential celebrity () and a former Vice President (Al Gore). So why shouldn’t they expect to get the current First Lady as well?

At the recent premiere of his movie Lymelife, star said he’s already has visions for Jack Donaghy post-Salma Hayek. “I think my character falls in love with Michelle Obama, of course,” Baldwin told Hollyscoop.

When asked why he’d court Michelle for the show rather than her husband (the President is familiar with NBC programming, after all), Alec said it would simply be nice to change things up a bit. “The President is on TV every day, all day. So we want to get something different,” he explained.

Thursday Ratings: Samantha No Better Than Betty

If ABC was hoping to make some improvements to its Thursday night ratings, the network might have to try again. In the Motherhood and Samantha Who? tied Ugly Betty‘s previous demos while averaging a smaller audience. Meanwhile, a rare Thursday appearance of American Idol gave FOX a win in both categories.

Thursday Ratings: Taylor Swift Not Enough for CBS

Taylor Swift isn’t just a big concert draw, the country music sensation is a ratings hit as well. Swift’s stint on CSI helped give the CBS program a nice boost on Thursday night. Unfortunately, that other musical hit (a.k.a. American Idol) was also around to do its thing.
